Found a House we Like

Went looking at houses with our real estate agent today and found a house we like. It needs some work but, it's got charm and some nice features.

It's a "short sale" which means it's one step away from foreclosure. We have to put in our offer which will need to be approved by the bank not the sellers and we will be buying from the bank if it all works out. It's not completely clear to me what I need to do but, we emailed our Mortage broker for advice.

5 minute walk to Park Ridge "downtown" the main area of town which they call Uptown. They also have South Park... seriously.

Uptown rocks! Lots of cool shops and restaurants and includes the Pickwick Theatre
