The Last working Farm in Nassau county Long Island NY is for sale. It's really sad. It's been in busy as Grossman Farms since the forever and it's just across the street from our house. Fresh flowers, fruits and veggies. Pumpkins at Halloween. Fresh baked goods and apple cider... :(

Barn Sale today, everything must go. People lined up and cleaned the place out in under 15 minutes. We went as well. I hope whoever buys it puts something nice there. The city has said if the farm is torn down all that the new owners can build are single family houses. So, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Pam thinks the town should buy it and make it a park. I think the town or school should buy it and have the school kids run it... Anyway here are some pics we took today.
