I blame our train friends Jim and Lynn

I blame our train friends Jim and Lynn for my being stranded at Jamaica.
It was a cold 40 mintues by the way.

I left work right at 5pm to catch the early train and I saw Jim and Lynn
on my subway train on my way to Penn. We talked about their new baby and
walked to the trains. They took an earlier train and were prepared to
wait 20 minutes at Jamaica for the connection. The connection my train
was suppose to meet.

You see they have been stranded at Jamaica twice and do not trust the
connection. I have never gotten stranded by this train before so when
they asked if I was going to take the train with them I said no. I said
I didn't want to wait out in the cold for my connection.

JINX!

The LIRR are blaming a the delays on a person who trespassed on the
tracked. That maybe true but, the person was on the tracks because Jim
and Lynn jinxed me.

So, I left work early for nothing.
I left right at 5pm because I have to run errands tonight and also I
have to go in early tomorrow for meetings. The first one is 3 hours
long.... Ugh.

I called Pam to see where she was. She was in Brooklyn and I had hoped
she would be home and could pick me up... No luck. She was on a train to
Lynbrook and was planning on taking a cab home.

So, no extra time to get my stuff done tonight.
First errands, then cook dinner, then take out the trash. Wonder what
reality TV Pamela will be watching tonight to round out my night of
petty annoyances...

Alright, trains here and I'm finally on my way home. I'm going to be
even later than if I had taken my normal train.

Whoever was the person trespassing on the tracks they should be
punished. Made to wait out in the cold for 40 minutes per person he/she
delayed and then forced to ride a local train 2 hours home.

The LIRR should have better security to keep it from happening in the
first place, too.

not nice to make fun of your wife's tv choices in such a global forum!!! She doesn't make fun of you watching 4 hour tapes of bike races that happened 2 yrs ago!

:)

The older dvd's are cheaper, and I can watch them anytime. So, I don't annoy anyone else.

However, if my wife would allow me to buy the lastest I wouldn't be watching 2 year old races...

The newer races are too expensive.
